Today I was one of approximately 2,800 world-wide applicants accepted into the Bertelsmann Technology Scholarship Challenge – Cloud DevOps Track program.
This means that for the next 3.5 months we, the Challenge students, will take the Introduction to Cloud DevOps class through Udacity. We will also collaborate closely with each other for the entire 3.5 months. The collaboration portion is a wonderful opportunity to meet and interact with students globally. This is an experience uniquely offered by Udacity, for which I am truly grateful to be a part of.
We, the students, will also be in competition with each other to win one of only a small number of Udacity Cloud DevOps Nanodegree scholarships. (Udacity is not disclosing the actual number.) I will be working hard for this scholarship. The Nanodegree is ‘right up my alley’ and in line with my aspirations towards becoming an excellent Data Engineer.
